King Crimson co-founder, Michael Giles is 82 years old today. It was Michael and his bass-playing brother, Peter who had placed an advert for a singing organist to complete a trio they were wanting to form. So naturally Robert Fripp, a non-singing guitarist applied for the job and Giles, Giles & Fripp were born.
