Robert Fripp

Robert Fripp is a legendary guitarist, composer, and producer who has made significant contributions to the music industry for over five decades. He was born on May 16, 1946, in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, England.

Fripp began playing guitar at the age of eleven and soon became interested in jazz and rock music. In the mid-1960s, he co-founded the progressive rock band King Crimson, which went on to release several influential albums, including "In the Court of the Crimson King" and "Red." Fripp's unique playing style and innovative use of technology helped define the sound of the band and made him a pioneer of progressive rock.

Aside from his work with King Crimson, Fripp has collaborated with a diverse range of artists throughout his career, including David Bowie, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, and Talking Heads. He also formed the group Fripp & Eno with Brian Eno, releasing several ambient music albums that would become influential in their own right.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Fripp continued to experiment with music and technology, often working on solo projects and releasing solo albums. He also founded the Guitar Craft school, which offered intensive guitar training to students from around the world.
